Pinned Update: Claim Existing Old ClassicKBD Character to Website Account

You can now claim an existing Old ClassicKBD character onto your website account — even if you already have the same name on New ClassicKBD.

Why this exists:
Old ClassicKBD characters (for example Brwn) live in the old server account files. New ClassicKBD characters live in a separate database. The same display name can exist on both worlds as two different characters. Claiming links your Old character to your website login so you can manage it from Account Management without staff help.

How to add / claim a character:
1. Log in to the ClassicKBD website
2. Open Account Management
3. Scroll to "Claim Existing Old ClassicKBD Character"
4. Enter the Old ClassicKBD in-game character name
5. Enter that character's in-game password
6. Click Claim Old Character

What to know:
- Use the Old ClassicKBD in-game password (not your website password, unless they match)
- Already having the same name on New ClassicKBD does not block the claim
- After a successful claim, the Old character appears on your website account for management
- Direct link: account_manager.php

This is for linking existing Old ClassicKBD characters. Creating a brand-new character is still done with Create Character on the same page.
