Website accounts can now recover a forgotten password by email.
Why this exists:
If you lose (or never saved) your ClassicKBD website login password, you previously needed staff to reset it. That shouldn't be the normal path — you should be able to unlock your own account when you still have access to the email on file.
How it works:
1. Open the website Login panel
2. Click "I forgot my password"
3. Enter the email registered on your website account
4. Check that inbox (and Junk/Spam) for a ClassicKBD recovery email
5. Open the link and set a new website password
6. Log in with the new password
Notes:
- This resets the website account password only (the email/password you use on rsckbd.com) — not your in-game character passwords
- The account must have a real email on file (migrated placeholder emails cannot receive recovery mail)
- Recovery links expire after about an hour and can only be used once
- The email may land in Junk the first time — mark it as Not junk so future ones reach your inbox
If you never get the email, double-check the address on the account, wait a minute and try again, or contact staff.
