Pinned XP Scale Fix: New ClassicKBD Brought to Authentic Bases

Hey everyone — BrwN here.

Quick technical note on experience, because the numbers were confusing people (for good reason).

What was wrong
- Old ClassicKBD used low, authentic base XP (example: Man pickpocket = 8) with a larger multiplier (16x weekday regular).
- New ClassicKBD was using a modified 4× base XP numbers (example: Man pickpocket = 32) with a smaller multiplier (8x weekday).
- Because New’s bases were about 4× higher, New was actually giving more XP per action than Old for a lot of skilling — even though the multiplier looked lower.

What we fixed
- New ClassicKBD authentic skill XP has been converted to the same wiki display units Old already used (classic.runescape.wiki).
- Shared actions like Man pickpocket, trees, fishing, mining, cooking, thieving stalls, magic spells, etc. now use the authentic bases on both worlds.
- Custom / post-99 content was left alone for now and can be balanced separately.

What this is NOT
- This is not a final Exp Rate Decision.
- We have not locked forever the 16x / 8x (and weekend/elite) multipliers.
- The point of this pass was to put both worlds on the same authentic XP yardstick so balancing is mostly about adjusting the multipliers, not fighting mismatched base tables.

Rates right now (unchanged by this fix)
Old: Regular 16x / 20x weekend · Elite 20x / 25x weekend · Wild +5
New: Regular 8x / 10x weekend · Elite 12x / 14x weekend · Wild +2

If something still feels off on a specific action, tell us which world + skill + action — especially Magic/herblaw edge cases or custom content.

Thanks for the patience while we straighten this out.
