A big New ClassicKBD drop today: dragon hunting areas are in, dragon drop tables are finished, and every dragon type now has hides and scales you can craft.
Deep Dragon Isles
Far north-east Wilderness — a large dragon compound.
- Dragons: Steel through Platinum
- Mining: 1 Khorium, 2 Dragon, 5 Rune, 3 Addy, plus Coal and Gold
- Other: 1 Dragonhide Chest, 1 Furnace, 2 White Pumpkins, 1 Red Cabbage
Bronze and Iron Dragon Hills
Both hills have a King, adults, and many babies.
- Bronze Dragon Hill — north-west of the Wilderness Thugs, north of Edgeville (185, 380)
- Iron Dragon Hill — north of the Wilderness Dark Wizards, north of Goblin Village (310, 385)
King Dragon Bones
Kings drop King Dragon Bones — bury them for Prayer XP.
Dragon drop tables
Every dragon now has a finished table. Adults drop their hide. Kings drop King Dragon Bones. You’ll also see herbs, gems, food, runes, logs, and coins on the kill.
Dragonhide → Leather → Hide armour
Every dragon type now drops its own hide (example: Khorium Dragonhide).
1. Take the hide to the Tanner in Al Kharid to turn it into leather (requires Crafting — higher hides need a higher level)
2. Use a needle and thread on the leather to sew:
- Hide Coif (2 leather)
- Hide Chest (5 leather)
- Hide Chaps (3 leather)
Example: Khorium Hide Coif, Khorium Hide Chest, Khorium Hide Chaps.
Hide armour has 80% of the armour of the matching metal set, plus a ranged bonus. Higher tiers need higher Ranged to wear.
Dragon scales → Studded hide
Every dragon type also drops scales. Use matching scales on hide armour (Crafting required) to stud it:
- Coif + 10 scales
- Chest + 25 scales
- Chaps + 15 scales
Example: Khorium Hide Chest + 25 Khorium Dragon Scales = Studded Khorium Hide Chest
You can only stud a piece with scales of the same type.
Update your New client through the ClassicKBD Launcher (fully close the game first, then Play New).
