Hey everyone — BrwN here.

A New ClassicKBD update is live. Fully close the game, reopen the ClassicKBD Launcher, and Play New so you get the new client. The web client at https://rsckbd.com/play.php (choose New) has the same update.

Home Teleport

Home Teleport is the first spell in the Magic book. It is level 1, uses no runes, and gives no experience. Click it, then cast it on yourself, the same way as the other teleports.

It starts at Lumbridge castle. To move it, talk to a barkeeper and choose I'd like to make this inn my home, then confirm.

Inns you can set:

- Varrock — Blue Moon Inn, Jolly Boar Inn, or Dancing Donkey Inn
- Falador — Rising Sun Inn
- Port Sarim — Rusty Anchor
- Brimhaven — Dead Man's Chest
- Seers' Village — Forester's Arms
- East Ardougne — Flying Horse Inn
- Khazard — the Khazard bar
- Yanille — Dragon Inn
- Tree Gnome Stronghold — Blurberry's Bar

Talking to the barkeeper to make this inn your home

Once that inn is your home, point at Home Teleport. It names the city. This one is set to Yanille Inn.

Home Teleport set to Yanille Inn

You can cast it every 30 minutes, or every 20 minutes for Elite members and staff. It does not work above level 20 wilderness, inside the Grand Tree, or while you are carrying Ana. The Magic skill guide explains the spell.

Progression capes

Every skill now has a progression cape, including Thieving, Runecraft, Harvesting, Summoning, and Construction.

Progression capes in the bank

Talk to that skill's NPC once the skill is 99. The 99 cape is 99,000 coins. At level 135 they stitch the middle back on for 500,000 coins. At level 150 they finish it for 1,000,000 coins. You can wear a piece only if your level in that skill is high enough.

While a cape is worn, it adds to that skill's experience rate only. The 99 cape adds 4. The 135 and finished capes add 8.

Right-click Teleport on a cape in your inventory or on the equipment screen. You arrive at the NPC who sells it. These teleports do not work in combat, above level 30 wilderness, inside the Grand Tree, or while you are carrying Ana.

The worn effect depends on the piece. Chances below are 99 / 135 / 150.

- Attack (Captain Rovin, Varrock palace): Stops a 0 hit. 11% / 23% / 70%
- Strength (Achetties, Heroes' Guild): Critical hit. 11% / 23% / 70%
- Defense (Horvik, Varrock armour shop): Blocks the whole hit. 3% / 6% / 20%
- Hits (Apothecary, Varrock): Heals half the damage you just dealt, up to your max Hits. 5% / 10% / 30%
- Ranged (Lowe, Varrock archery shop): Keeps the arrow, bolt, or dart. Knives are still used. 8% / 16% / 50%
- Prayer (Abbot Langley, the monastery): Burying bones can give a king dragon bone. 2% / 5% / 16%
- Magic (Wizard Frumscone, Yanille): Casts the spell with no runes. 3% / 6% / 20%
- Cooking (the Head Chef): Cooks faster a third of the time, two thirds of the time, or always
- Woodcutting (the Forester): An extra log, and double experience for that chop. 2% / 5% / 16%
- Fletching (Hickton, Catherby): Makes twice as many. 6% / 13% / 40%
- Fishing (the Master Fisher): Use raw dragonsharks on the cape to store them. The 99 cape holds 3, the 135 cape holds 6, and the finished cape holds 10. Using the cape teleports you to the Fishing Guild and uses up one stored dragonshark. A Fishing Trawler haul is improved a third of the time, two thirds of the time, or always
- Firemaking (the Candle maker, Catherby): Double Firemaking experience for that log. 8% / 16% / 50%
- Crafting (the Master Crafter): A second item from the same materials. 8% / 16% / 50%. Any piece, worn, opens the Crafting Guild without a brown apron
- Smithing (Thurgo): Smelts with half the coal, and the anvil can return the bars. Each is 8% / 16% / 50%
- Mining (Nurmof, Dwarven Mine): Two ore, and double experience for that rock. 2% / 5% / 16%
- Herblaw (Jatix, Taverley): Keeps the herb, and can make two potions from one secondary. Each is 8% / 16% / 50%
- Agility (the Gnome trainer): Awards the lap bonus a second time. 8% / 16% / 50%
- Thieving (Robin Banks): A failed pickpocket can still succeed. 5% / 10% / 30%
- Runecraft (Sedridor, Wizards' Tower): Double the runes from one essence. 8% / 16% / 50%
- Harvesting (the Gardener, Falador): Extra produce, and double experience for that harvest. 2% / 5% / 16%
- Summoning (Wizard Mizgog, Wizards' Tower): Summons with no runes. 3% / 6% / 20%
- Construction (the house merchant): Double the planks from one log at the sawmill. 8% / 16% / 50%

Journal

- Pickpocket 400 coins from gnomes counts coins stolen from gnomes in the Tree Gnome Stronghold, including the Grand Tree. Toads, worms, ore, and runes do not count. Progress you already have keeps going, and the task finishes at 400.
- Buy a pizza base finishes when you buy a pizza base from Fat Tony. A plain, meat, or anchovy pizza still counts in the surface wilderness.
- See Lord Darquarius finishes when you stand near him. Talking to him still finishes it too.

Gear and magic

Dragon chain mail now has an armour bonus of 70. It still needs 60 Defense. For comparison: Adamant chain 38, Rune chain 65, Dragon chain 70, Khorium chain 75, Platinum chain 80.

Enchant level-5 on a dragonstone ring asks you to choose a Ring of Wealth or a Ring of Avarice. The ring stays in your inventory if you cancel, or if you do not have the runes (15 water, 15 earth, and 1 cosmic).

Dragon Slayer

The Lady Lumbridge stays with you until the ship reaches Crandor. You land on the island, and Ned on the wreck tells you that you have arrived.
