Hey everyone — BrwN here.
A New ClassicKBD update is live. Fully close the game, reopen the ClassicKBD Launcher, and Play New so you get the new client. The web client at https://rsckbd.com/play.php (choose New) has the same update. Android is 7.38. Open the app and let it update.
Skill guides
Open a skill. Each row shows the level, the name, where to do it, and the experience you get. That experience is the amount you actually receive. Elite members see it in cyan. Hold the mouse over a chest, or a similar row, for the breakdown.
Cape rows name who sells that cape and where they stand.
Locations are filled in across the guides: trees, rocks, fish, allotments, herbs, courses, chests, altars, and the rest.
- Mining names the Legends' Guild Dungeon and the Frozen Tundra Dungeon.
- Smithing metal tabs include the platebodies.
- Ranged has its own Armour tab.
- Harvesting says where the allotments, fruit trees, bushes, and herbs are.
- Summoning lists each familiar, the level, the quest if one is required, and the experience. The Commands tab says what that familiar does, and how it changes as it grows.
- Construction covers furniture, showcases, NPCs, planks, trees, rocks, islands, and teleports.
Quest guides
Open the quest list and click a quest. The guide reads how far you are and shows only the next step.
If you have not started, it names who to talk to, the skill and quest requirements, the items you need, and anything worth bringing.
If you are in the middle of it, it tells you the next thing that quest is waiting on. It does not print the rest of the quest.
If you have finished, it shows the congratulations and the rewards.
Every free quest and every members quest has a guide. The progress line at the bottom still shows whether it is not started, in progress, or complete.
Pirate's treasure below is the same quest at three stages. The text changes as you go.
Terrorbirds
Ten level 28 terrorbirds are just west of the level 12 Wilderness altar, north of Varrock. They are aggressive.
Every kill drops big bones, and one of these:
- Feathers (5, 8, or 12)
- An egg
- A limpwurt root
- An unidentified guam leaf or tarromin
- An eye of newt
- A vial
- 20–25 coins
- A nature rune
How to update
1. Fully close the game client
2. Close and reopen the ClassicKBD Launcher
3. Play New so it can pull the latest files
