A New ClassicKBD update is live. Fully close the game, reopen the ClassicKBD Launcher, and Play New. The web client at https://rsckbd.com/play.php (choose New) has the same update.
Sanctuary
Sanctuary is a new island that is accessible through "A Bottle for Da" quest chain. The Sanctuary castle sits on the hill above the marketplace.
Unlock the Magical Teleport Device attuned to Sanctuary.
Island includes:
- A furnace opens on the island once you satisfy the Forge Quartermaster.
- Two shops.
- The market trader sells bread, cooked meat, a tinderbox, a bronze pickaxe, a hammer, rope, and air, water, earth, and mind runes, once his stall is stocked.
- The ship chandler sells planks, nails, steel bars, and nets once Room at the Wall quest is complete.
- Mining: Rocks and gem rocks.
- Harvesting: Coconut palms, papaya palms, dragonfruit trees, grape vines, herbs, snape grass, whiteberry, limpwurt, and seaweed.
- Thieving: New Pickpocket NPC: Freebooters. Three stand on the island at Combat level 75.
Required Thieving Level: 90
Loot: 4 chaos runes, a staff, 2 law runes, 3 blood runes, 2 rune arrows, an adamantite bar, 120 coins, or a gold bar.
- Sanctuary Altar. After Three Copies quest, recharging there sets Prayer to your maximum plus 10.
Quests
A Bottle for Da
Skill total of 1500. Starts with Harbormaster Coll on the Port Sarim dock, by the Entrana monks. The message bottle is on the ground just west of the Salvager.
Reward: 1 Quest Point, level×15 + 50 Harvesting, Agility, and Smithing experience, 1,000 coins, a chart scrap, and a wooden bird.
The Unlisted Passage
Requires A Bottle for Da, Rune Mysteries, Runecraft 54, a Construction island with a sawmill, and 50,000 coins. A wrong heading costs the coins again.
Reward: 2 Quest Points, level×40 + 150 Runecraft and Construction experience, level×40 + 150 in one combat skill, and Coll's boat free both ways.
Room at the Wall
Requires The Unlisted Passage.
Reward: 1 Quest Point, level×15 + 50 Mining and Cooking experience, one extra reward from how you finish the warden's task, and Sanctuary on the Magical Teleport Device.
Three Copies
Requires Room at the Wall. Starts with Captain Ryn Vask in Sanctuary, at 360, 410.
Reward: 2 Quest Points, and level×40 + 150 Firemaking and Agility experience.
How to update
1. Fully close the game client
2. Close and reopen the ClassicKBD Launcher
3. Play New so it can pull the latest files
