Firemaking Overview

Firemaking is a skill that allows players to light fires using logs and a tinderbox. Higher firemaking levels provide access to more valuable logs and better experience rates. Fires are essential for cooking food and provide light in dark areas.

Firemaking Tools

Tool Level Description

Training Methods

1. Basic Firemaking

Use a tinderbox on logs to light fires. Start with regular logs and progress to higher-level logs as your skill increases.

2. Batch Firemaking

With batch progression enabled, you can light multiple fires in sequence for efficient training.

3. Torch Lighting

Use dry sticks to light torches, requiring 30 Firemaking level. Useful for quests and dark areas.

4. Quest Requirements

Many quests require lighting fires or torches, making firemaking a useful skill for quest completion.

Firemaking Mechanics
